By Car
From New England:
Take the Throgs Neck Bridge (Route 295) to I-495 east. Take I-495 (LIE) to Exit 70. At the end of the ramp turn south on the Eastport Manorville Road. Drive about 5 miles to Route 27 (Sunrise Hwy) heading east. After crossing the Shinnecock Canal continue on until the road turns into a two-lane road (County Road 39). Take this for several miles to the intersection with the Montauk Highway (still called Route 27). Go east (left) for about 5 miles, through Water Mill and past the traffic light at Bridgehampton Commons. Turn left at the Gulf Gas station (just before Dime Bank)…this is Snake Hollow Road. Go over the railroad tracks to the Hampton Classic’s Spectator Entrance on the left.
From Upper New England using Cross Sound Ferry (New London, CT to Orient Point, NY):
Depart Cross Sound Ferry in Orient, stay on Route 25A for 7 miles, make a left on to Main Street towards Greenport village, take a right onto Front Street, follow signs to North Ferry. Take the North Ferry from Greenport to Shelter Island, cash necessary. Follow route 114 to South Ferry, cash necessary. Once over the South Ferry follow signs to Sag Harbor village, make a right into town. At the end of town, bear right at the end of Main Street onto Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike. Turn right on Scuttlehole Road and left onto Mitchell Lane and then right onto Snake Hollow at the showgrounds. Alternate route with no North or South Ferry: Route 25A from Orient towards New York. In Riverhead go south on Route 105 to Flanders Road (Route 24 S). Turn left onto 24S, to Route 27 East After crossing the Shinnecock Canal continue on until the road turns into a two-lane road (County Road 39). Take this for several miles to the intersection with the Montauk Highway (still called Route 27). Go east (left) for about 5 miles, through Water Mill and past the traffic light at Bridgehampton Commons. Turn left at the Gulf Gas station (just before Dime Bank)…this is Snake Hollow Road. Go over the railroad tracks to the Hampton Classic’s Spectator Entrance on the left.
From New Jersey & South:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 13. Take Route 278 across Staten Island to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Continue on Route 278 to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway north to I-495, (the LIE) East. Take Southern State to the Sunrise Highway (Route 27) in Oakdale. Drive about 30 miles east to Southampton/Shinnecock Canal area. After crossing the Shinnecock Canal continue on until the road turns into a two-lane road (County Road 39). Take this for several miles to the intersection with the Montauk Highway (still called Route 27). Go east (left) for about 5 miles, through Water Mill and past the traffic light at Bridgehampton Commons. Turn left at the Gulf Gas station (just before Dime Bank)…this is Snake Hollow Road. Go over the railroad tracks to the Hampton Classic’s Spectator Entrance on the left.
From Islip MacArthur Airport:
From the airport exit drive out to Veterans Memorial Highway (Route 454). Turn left (east) on Veterans. Take it a few miles east to Route 27 East (heading towards Montauk and The Hamptons. At this point you are about 35 miles west of Bridgehampton. After crossing the Shinnecock Canal continue on until the road turns into a two-lane road (County Road 39). Take this for several miles to the intersection with the Montauk Highway (still called Route 27). Go east (left) for about 5 miles, through Water Mill and past the traffic light at Bridgehampton Commons. Turn left at the Gulf Gas station (just before Dime National Bank)…this is Snake Hollow Road. Go over the railroad tracks to the Hampton Classic’s Spectator Entrance on the left.
From Riverhead:
First head towards the south shore on Route 24, the road past the Big Duck. When you get to the Sunrise Highway/Route 27 divided highway…go east toward Montauk. After crossing the Shinnecock Canal continue on until the road turns into a two-lane road (County Road 39). Take this for several miles to the intersection with the Montauk Highway. Go east (left) for about 5 miles on the Montauk Highway (still called Route 27), through Water Mill and past the traffic light at Bridgehampton Commons Shopping Center. Turn left at the Gulf Gas station …this is Snake Hollow Road. Go over the railroad tracks to the Hampton Classic’s Spectator Entrance on the left.
