LIHSSRD Championships at Hampton Classic

Bridgehampton, NY- July 24, 2014 - The Long Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities (LIHSSRD) Championship is proud to return to the Hampton Classic Horse Show to celebrate its ninth anniversary at the event. The championship classes, sponsored by Bridgehampton National Bank, are held for qualifying adult and junior riders from the 2013-2014 Show Series with a documented disability and will run on Monday, August 25. Three divisions will be included-one for riders requiring the assistance of a leader, one for riders requiring a spotter at the beginner independent level, and one for more advanced independent riders.

Steve Stephens Retires as Show Manager of Hampton Classic Horse Show

Bridgehampton, NY--February 26, 2014--With deep appreciation for his 30 years of service, The Hampton Classic Horse Show announces that Steve Stephens is retiring as Horse Show Manager. While Stephens will continue to be associated with the horse show as a member of its Horsemen's Advisory Committee, his retirement as horse show manager is effective immediately. "Steve has played an integral role in the growth of the Hampton Classic into one of the world's most highly regarded horse shows and no words can express the credit he is due," said Dennis Suskind, president of the Hampton Classic Board of Directors.
