Thousands of children enjoy animals and many more activities.

Bridgehampton, N.Y., Aug. 29, 2015 - Optimum® Kids Day was a huge hit once again at the 40th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show. More than 2,000 children, from Long Island and all around the New York metropolitan area, enjoyed pony rides, a petting zoo, musical entertainment and dancing, magic acts and more.

All this, just a few steps from the action in the Grand Prix Ring and in the hunter rings.

In addition to the free pony rides for children under 12, activities included dancing and singing on stage with Jarell Entertainment, the Bellini Family Circus & Friends, magic by the Amazing Zola, face painting by Ruby, face painting and airbrush tattoos by Fancy Faces, and crafts with the Ross School and Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research, plus Piggety the Vietnamese pot-bellied pig and Henry the Angora rabbit, llamas and other production animals from the Long Island Livestock Company,

When they weren't performing, the Bellini Family Circus & Friends ran workshops to allow kids to learn to perform some of the acts and tricks that they saw.

Children's events at the Hampton Classic weren't limited to Optimum® Kids Day, though.

Throughout the week, the Long Island Livestock Company had llamas, alpacas, sheep and goats on display in the Kids Tent.
